New EquipmentShare branch opens in Helena, creating 82 jobs
HELENA, Mont. – A new branch of EquipmentShare has opened in Helena, bringing new job opportunities to the community. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the company's expansion into the area, which is expected to have a significant impact.
Governor Greg Gianforte attended the event, highlighting the company's investment in Montana. "Equipment share is making a big commitment to Montana," he said. "More than $81 million invested 82 new jobs created across the locations, with four new locations in Helena, Billings, Kalispell and Great Falls. That's a vote of confidence for our people, our economy, and our future."
EquipmentShare operates 326 locations in 44 states, offering equipment rentals to enhance safety and efficiency in local projects. Travis Johnson, EquipmentShare Vice President, emphasized the technological advancements the company brings. "Full time job site visibility, access keypads to reduce unauthorized use, bluetooth tracking to prevent tool loss, smart cameras to coach safer driving, and predictive maintenance to keep projects moving," he said. "For the first time ever, contractors have full visibility and control over the job site."
Johnson added, "Construction is tough and it's dangerous, but with equipment technology, we're working to ensure that when workers go out each day, they come home each and every night."
To celebrate its presence in Helena, EquipmentShare donated $1,500 to the Angel Fund and another $1,500 to Tactics Montana.
Charles Dodd, Helena EquipmentShare General Manager, shared that there are still job opportunities available. "We're actively hiring across the state drivers, service techs, mechanics, sales reps, and more," he said. "These are great paying jobs with room to grow, and we're excited to bring more Montanans onto the team."
